She was also saying that no true "organic" material is going to be as soft as the materials being used & labelled "organic".
Why can't organic materials be soft? I don't understand why she would say this. Surely it would have something to do with the nature of the fabric and the way the fibre is. Just like some wools are rough in their natural state but others are much softer an finer which is why merino is so popular!

She sounds like she's being argumentive for the fun of it

At the end of the day yes I think she was being argumentive just for the hell of it, i wasn't arguing the point with her,. by this stage of the conversation I just resorted to playing dumb & smiling while going "Oh yeah, hmm that's interesting"

She did say that bamboo is a short fibre, its a hard fibre so they must be doing something to it to make it soft, she was also pointing out another nappy ( I was ina shop that stocks them) that is a organic cotton, i can't think of the name...., saying there is no way something tha soft can be organic. so i think she is meaning that there must be something in the processing o f the material thats not organic, so its not really organic.

She was an older lady who I think while wants to believe she is pro cloth, she is stuck on the old way of cloth, like it was 35 years ago when her kids where in nappies (her words). I thin tkeh idea of bamboo & microfleece etc are just to out there for her to grasp & while yes she seemed to know about the materials because she is selling them she didn't actually seem tot hink it was abetter option then cotton terry's.
