I do. I have been using this recipe to do rolls and loaves of bread:
French Bread Rolls to Die For - Allrecipes

I am considering starting a sour dough though because we seem to be using a lot of yeast.

That is so funny. I printed that one off at the same time, but just haven't tried it!! I'll have to give it a go when I go to make bread next.

Same as Donna and Ikis, the bread maker does the initial knead of my recipe and then I reshape into my own tin

I've made my own pizza dough and dinner rolls before. It was a lot of fun but not something I would do all the time

I went looking for the bread maker but i hate the way that the loaves come out and couldn' justify the price for the kneading part of the cycle. Specially when DH bought me a commercial mixer for my bday that does have bells and whistles and all these gadgets

And I have just put another batch into the oven, because the kids have eaten this mornings two loaves today. Maybe it's too much of a hit

yep I used to from scratch the whole way through and it's so darn satisfying.
and the SMELL mmmmmm lol

these days I let the bmaker do the kneading and I do the rest - I hate how it turns out of the maker so I use my own old-style tins, some from the old shearer's quarters out the station that my Nanna gave me, they are great!
