Introducing..........
Oliver William
Born: June 9th 2008, 4:08am Weight: 3.44kg (7lb 6oz) Length: 51cm HC: 35cm Thought I should pop in here and post our exciting news while I am waiting for my little man to wake up. I am really not sure what to write other than that he is absolutely gorgeous  It has taken Oliver and I a little while to bond, especially with me suffering anti-natal depression throughout the pregnancy, but we seem to be doing OK. He weighed in at a healthy 3.44kg, is breastfeeding like a champ, and is quite the little character already. He is so very different in mannerisms and quirks to my first, but so similar in looks  I did however get a shock when he came out with almost black hair, when my first had next to none, and what was there was almost blonde  He is now officially 5 days old being after midnight, and we are on day 3 of our cloth nappy journey, so far so good His very first cloth nappy was a minky red Beetlebum which survived a super wetting and a monster breastfeeding poo with no leaks, it did an amazing job and I was pleasantly surprised Unfortunately I didn't get a pic, it is soooo cold here at the moment and he doesn't like being changed at the best of times, I don't either so I have to give him credit where credit is due LOL!We are both doing well, I had a complication free vaginal delivery, no tears, no stitches, so one happy woman here. There was some membrane left behind but they think they were able to get it all, I just have to keep an eye on things just in case. He was slightly Jaundiced and had a lot of mucous but is doing really well, we have our moments still as we try to work out how things work, but we couldn't be happier Anyway I better get off of here and prepare my nest for a feed, drink some water, choose his next nappy, decisions decisions  I will leave you with a pic, excuse the quality, we all know how bad hospital rooms are for photos  Here he is at about 6 hours old x Mel

Hi Mel. Congratulations on the arrival on Oliver
 (great name!). Is your DS enjoying having a little brother? Sounds like we need another Adelaide nappycino so we can meet this gorgeous bub.

Awww Mel - he's just adorable!!!!
Love the name - my friend had a bub a week and a half ago and called him Oliver too Yes we'll def have to have another Adelaide NC meet so we can all get some newborn snuggles  Congrats to you
