I hate winter, but we haven't had much of it yet - it really only started to get cold a few days ago... Think you better try to get used to it Ying - there's another two months to go!

Sorry, another fan of winter here! I hate hot weather, you can't escape it, in winter you can put a heater and a jumper on. I sympathise with you though, it sucks having to stay inside all the time. I have 3 clothes horses and no dryer, I just have to rotate the clothes in front of the heater (when I'm living in Geelong that is!)

I LOVE this weather, cuddling up in bed with all of the boys in the morning getting rugged up under blankets watching movies, warm chocolate (we don't do hot drinks ever here) and marshies, YUM! cuddling under blankets and reading to the kids.. plus yay liam is finally starting to occassionally leave clothes on and woot we finally weaned him off the fan being on all night for white noise so this winter is no where near as cold as past ones lol! love love love it!

It's been an absolutely gorgeous winter day here - no rain, no wind, warm enough that I didn't even need a jacket for most of the day, Connor was running around in t-shirt & shorts at his athletics carnival (took off tracksuit because it was too hot). Even had to a hat out in the afternoon!

And winter is perfect for warm fires, hot chocolate with marshmallows, yummy soups, really rich casseroles served with lashings of mashed potatoes, ...

Another winter lover here It is raining today and I love it!

Ying - can you put up clothes horses to dry your washing inside rather than using the dryer? Saves on the bills!!

I love Winter too.
Ying, the wind has been fantastic for drying here. I got through 7 loads of washing (saving it up lol)on the weekend because of the wind. I hate having a dryer, it makes me lazy. It only gets used if we have days on end of rain. But then it gives me an excuse to buy more clothes

We have only had to have the air on twice, just to take the bite out, other than that, I dont think it has been too cold in Sydney. Love the layers, snuggles and mornings under the doona. My ideal house would be in the Southern Highlands - bloody cold down there, but gorgeous.

No it hasn't even started here yet! I'm yet to wear a pair of jeans, or a jumper - it was cool over the weekend (minimums of 8 and max of 20) - but I'm still wearing shorts and a shirt during the day.

I can't wait for winter to start!
