i don't mind winter
i don't much like the colds & flu
or the cold mornings
and drying nappies is a pain atm

but at least you can get warm and snuggly at night

oh Joh, you're my girl!

Seems everyone else loves winter hey? It's probably only my area that the weather has been absolutely pita? I can't imagine Blue Mountains is lovely and warm now, Toria It's absolutely wet and chilly where I am (western sydney).

I love snuggle up with my kid too but she just won't stay still under the blanket with me for more than 2 mins She's too excited to get on with the day, no extra cuddling under the doona here in the morning...sigh.

We can't put a hose inside the house to dry our clothes, there's just no space for that I hate to use the dryer too but we have no choice.

Not much of a winter lover myself either, but am looking forward to it on Sunday when we arrive. Looking forward to no AC and snuggling under a doona.

We have had a constant dust storm here for the last 3 weeks, and it is driving me nuts. Can't go outside as you get sand in your eyes and mouth. It is 40 degrees, but I have to dry clothes inside with the AC as it is too dirty outside. None of our windows or doors seal properly so inside is dusty too

Mind you, give me a week of cold and rain, and then I will be well and truly over winter as well

I love winter too! Mind you, we don't get much rain and the days are still sunny but I would much rather be cold than hot!

Ying if you have 2 metres by 2 metres (or even less really!) you have room for the clothes horse! We had three going in a one bedroom flat in Sydney with four adults clothings to be done (one couple stayed in the lounge lol!). You can do it! Bung one in the bathroom.

Totally get the heater at night thing, Ying! It really dries me out - I hate it. We try just to have a little heater on in the lounge to take the chill off and turn it off before we go to bed and rug up! Gracie is my hot water bottle so are generally warm enough in bed

I'll take winter over summer any time, I love snuggling up with blankets on the couch.
But I don't like that it takes forever to get the washing dry, but then in summer you have to suffer heat stroke going out to the line.
