Default over winter yet?

I so am

To make it worse, it's been overcast, windy and raining for the past 2-3 weeks as well It just looks super miserable!

I hate that I can't go out and hang my clothes (too misty and wet).
I hate that I can't enjoy my chilled drinks like I did in summer (although my hot tea tastes much better in winter ).
I hate that I can't chuck Becky out in the backyard when she's going crazy as it's so cold an she refuses to wear warm clothes
I hate to put on lots of layers and being pregnant, it just makes me look like a beach whale

I must stop before I keep going on for hours Seriously though Im so over winter! Bring on summer and sunshine!!!

it's forecast to be raining for the next 3 days straight Ying LOL I don't mind the rain. I like it. my clothesline is under cover so no problems there only issue is the boys can't play outside, but we have a decent outdoor area that's covered if they do want to be out there.

I'm loving it too! But then consider the conditions we 'normally' have here Plus winter has only just started up again this week! (we had a false start about a month ago lol)

I don't mind winter find it easier to keep warm then to keep cool in summer but I'm over all the colds and stuff that the colder weather brings both Nadia and Ashton are off school atm due to being unwell and Ethan is showing signs of coming down with the same bug...
I'm lucky this new place has somewhere undercover that I put up some rope so I can get clothes dry so I'm using the dryer a lot less then I did last winter

Wouldn't know it was winter here today

Admittedly, the nights and morning are cold but the days are divine.

The only thing that really gets to me is all the extra washing and having to dress the kids in so many extra layers

Oh yes I agree about the extra washing....... even more when Ashton always finds the biggest puddles to jump in after school

The dryer runs constantly here We have no undercover area that I can use and Becky can't play outside if it rains.

I'm truly a summer girl I think
