I agree never the wrong season for icecream. I have even eaten ice cream outside when I was travelling in the US and UK when it was snowing. People thought I was mad. Wasn't going to miss ice cream though.

I have tried the Easy Yo one as well. Nice flavour but not smooth as PP's have said.

I use one of the recipes from Sue Dengates book Fed Up. I get a lovely creamy result - from memory it's cream, eggs, milk and sugar but she has quite a few dairy free ones in there as well.

we have the krups one.
the ice-cream that comes out of it is beautiful. but it does get a bit hard once you freeze it. nothing a tiny zap in the microwave or sit-on-the-bench defrost doesn't fix.
i really like making sorbet with it. also dairy free ice-cream (mango and coconut cream)

derr, didn't check the box...mine is a Krups, too (not Delonghi)! I knew it was one of those brands that do coffee machines! Highly recommend it.

I has a Mistral. Doesn't get used much - but we don't eat a lot of ice cream - must get it back out again - it makes the best ice cream!
