I've obviously been VERY exposed to it in the last week or two but really have to wait for a rash to appear to know one way or the other. My GP said not to worry about it because nothing can be done anyway. I'm wondering now if there is some form of treatment that she didn't know about Being a virus, probably not, but I'm just wondering what your GP said.
Hope you are in the all clear

there is two parts to the test, one says y/n to antibodies & the other if you have current/recent infection.
Adults usually don't get any rash & can have no symptoms at all.
Children also don't 'have' to have the Slap cheek rash to have it, could just be flu like.
the real risk for unborn bubs is before 20 weeks, the baby can get severe anaemia.
doctors would monitor it via U/S & it can be treated in utero. (worst case obviously).
(this info is from my doc)
