Orchard Game

After the post about favourite games, we were motivated to play games tonight. It was heaps of fun... I took photos of the kids and DH playing the Orchard Game which people were asking about.

It's such a great game... we love it!

You just take turns to roll the big wooden die.

If you get green, you pick an apple from the apple tree and put it in your basket, if you get yellow you pick a pear, blue (plum) and red (cherries) .
If you get "basket" then you get to pick any 2 pieces of fruit you like (the best thing to roll).
If you get "crow" then you add a piece of crow puzzle to the board.

If the crow puzzle is completed before all the fruit is picked then the crow wins, but if you pick all the fruit before the crow puzzle is completed then everybody wins! Our kids get excited either way!

Theresa... lol... I asked for it for our family christmas present because I loved it so much... of course you could ask for it for your birthday You will be playing it... I guarantee!
