we did that this morning too! yep, just flour, water and food colouring. a bit messy! but a lot of fun, and cleaned up well. Although the boys have stained hands atm, but that will come off properly in the bath.

hehe it did make a little mess but it really was so easy to clean up !! And it didn't stain my floor which was great. Kids weren't allowed to touch the dye so they didn't get dirty hands... I told them only mummies were allowed haha
We used 2 cups of flour, 2 cups of water then poured a little in, added food dye, stirred, put in a container and repeated till we had all 5 colours.

my boys didn't touch the dye either they did finger painting though, that was enough to stain the hands LOL

Our entire house is carpet (cept bathroom and kitchen) and because its raining we haven't been outside for a few days and Em is badgering me about glueing and painting....

We have the craft table in the kitchen (as you can see there is drawing on it lol). That way there is no mess that I can't clean up. Next time we make it I might add some glitter for something different.
