Default grocery prices

I am just wondering what you would expect to pay for the following list of groceries (not individual prices but just a rough total price)
1kg Navel oranges
1kg pink lady apples
1kg carrots
200g mushrooms
1kg mandarins
1kg potatoes
half bunch celery
onions (about 4)
tin canned tomatoes (no name)
1kg steak (not t-bone or anything fancy)

This is just a curiosity TIA

About $30, of course would all depend on where you shopped - basing mine on a supermarket shop.

I would say depends on where you shop. I'd say about $35 roughly. really does depend on the store though. I know one shop here i could get the veges at for under $20 but other's wouldn't be able to walk out under $35

Yeah I'd say about $35. Although as pp said it would depend on where you bought everything from.

Smile Re: grocery prices

I would say $40......shocking thought.....hardly anything there.

My shopping is out of control, I haven't done a weekly shop for months & every time I go to the shop (read everyday) I spend at least $30

My prices are a mix of the best prices I can get from our local f&v and Aldi. There's usually always one type of apple for .99c/kg and pears or oranges (generally small ones which I prefer for the kids!) for about 50c/kg.
