Just use a tiny bit of red. Glad the playdoh worked well
I have Red, Pink, Blue, Green and Yellow food colouring. There was only 5 at my Woolies. Did you get the Queens ones or did you buy in the box with the 4 little tubes?

I bought the box with 4 little tubes Mel. I thought that's all they had

Ok, sounds like I'm a dag here Yeah should have known that a bit of red with white base turn into pink But beetroot juice is also a great idea (although we don't have beetroots in this house very often as I hate them )

Megsie, we ended up with the most disgusting colour this morning I tried to make purple by mixing red & blue but didn't get it quite right and Becky added a bit of green in it, so now we have something resembles to Vegemite instead

try giving Becky just two colour combinations.so then you won't end up with just brown playdough

you could buy one small can of beetroot and freeze the juice? then scrape off a bit when you need it
