Default Any ideas about racing heart?

Anyone know why my hearbeat would be racing? It has been high all day, I haven't been feeling the best I went to the chemist today cos I felt really weak and faint and they got me to sit in a chair for 20 minutes. Then they checked my BP which was normal 111/72 but my pulse was 107 and even now sitting here in this chair doing absolutely nothing it is 96 Any ideas?

I'd say ring the hospital or your doctor.

Best to get things checked out

I would be going straight to your docs or the hospital to be honest.

Hope you are being well looked after now

anaemia can cause a higher heart rate apparently....

Just got back. Everything with bub is fine. They said the dizzyness and feeling faint is normal in pregnancy as is a higher heart rate cos your body is working harder. They did an ECG and everything was fine so I am happy about that.
Now I am just exhausted so I am going to bed for hopefully a nice long sleep.

Good to hear all is ok! I was also told higher a heart rate is normal for some women during pregnancy. Mine was often high 80's to low 90's in my second pregnancy and my OB never expressed concern.
