Gympie is on our list of places we *might* be moving to (along with Rockhampton and North Coast NSW somewhere). We are going for the tree change/ecofriendly move. Well technically somewhere between Gympie and the coast. Seems very nice up there, but I'm unsure about things to do. I'm planning on homeschooling when we move, so that would be my thing to do .

Shannon we thought about Gympie BUT Grae would be working in TCB so seems silly to have the oppurtunity to live in a small coastal town then live in land

Plus if Grae is offered the job, it would involve on call stuff at night and weekends so less traveling time would be heaps better

The travel expense for me to go to Gympie a few times a week/fortnight would be heaps cheaper than for him to travel everyday for work, sometimes more than once

And for us that is a huge town, we are used to something alot smaller

Leah we are lucky midges and creatures seem to not like the taste of us

Good idea because we saw wild horses on that road.

We visited my sister for a week when she lived there in 2006/2007. She was on her own so I don't know what facilities there are for mums and bubs.

Oh yes Grae knows the road pretty well

He is up there at least once a week for the past 12 months ....but sometimes 2 or 3 times

So I guess gympie to TCB would be a breeze
