We're off to Tin Can hopefully in a few weeks for our first every camping trip (just the weekend).

Well technically somewhere between Gympie and the coast. Seems very nice up there, but I'm unsure about things to do. I'm planning on homeschooling when we move, so that would be my thing to do

OT, but Shannon, i'm homeschooling in Maryborough and am in contact with the Gympie homeschooling group. If you do move up PM me and i'll give you the details. We've also got a small group happening here if you'd also consider Maryborough.

We nearly moved to Gympie, but it was much more expensive to rent there than Maryborough, so came here by default. Another thing about Gympie was that all the backyards seem so steep-I couldn't work out how on earth to have a trampoline and swing set there!
