...and talk all things Wii!
Okies so I finally got my birthday present (wii + wiifit etc) .. it was only a couple of months late due to being sold out but was definitely worth the wait!I am so enjoying WiiFit and my calf muscles are ouchie so I guess it's actually working. I really enjoy the step and hula hooping and like everything else. I'm even okay with the jogging and I HATE jogging! I'm playing The Dog Island and despite it being a kid game I'm really enjoying it. I get rather stressed playing the really violent type of games and it seems like the Wii is more family friendly. We also have Wii Sports (came with the console) and I like it too... I like that DH & I have the option of playing together not just watching each other. So anyhoo am I alone? I'm sure there are other Wii lovers who would love to discuss what games they're playing and what's hot and what's not. I think someone said that the sports pack was not good and boy were they right. Unfortunately we had already ordered it by then and also Cooking Mama the mixing really frustrates me as the controller seems to cut in and out and doesn't mix and gaah! Also trying to peel vegetables sucks IRL let alone trying to do it as part of a game!!!!I love WiiFit - think it's awesome! I love how you can weigh other things with it as well (by holding them and it calculates the difference)... H is 5.6kg and S is 13.4kg... not that that has anything to do with the WiiFit but I couldn't believe it worked! ![]() WiiSports is good although baseball frustrates me trying to hit the darn ball. Boxing doesn't work well for me... my left arm is a lot weaker than my right (dominant) and the sensor picks my left hand up as lower for some reason and makes it hard to aim and hit accurately. Golf well blah... I swing too hard or too soft. Tennis is my favourite. The Dog Island is quite fun actually! Well, I'm enjoying it! lol Cooking Mama - don't waste your money ![]() So come discuss what games are good, bad or ugly and how you're going... obviously be careful not to spoil things for others but we can still chat can't wii?!

I forgot to add, I think we have about 15 games now (don't ask me what they are LOL), but I generally just use the really interactive ones LOL

Dh purchased one 2 weeks ago and I don't get to use it much. The only time I can play is late at night, but tonight is Saturday so dh will be home in the night so we will play together.
We have wii fit - only had 1 go so far and lego star wars which is fun playing 2 player mode. Sports as well and Teegan will happily stay in the wrap while I play tennis. I'm so excited about playing tonight, just need the boys asleep and Teegan in the wrap and I'm set. Dh also did the wii people (not sure what it is called but when you have your own character) and playing boxing is so much fun. Dh's character looks just like him, except maybe he has a little more hair than the real one. |

We have the Wii console, the Wii fit, mario kart and yeah we got the sports pack and have never used it (so waste of money and totally agree don't buy it!) - we also got the charger pack so we don't have to replace batteries on the controllers, we also got the Wii play pack with the extra controller and also an extra nunchuck. We have had it for a while and love playing bowling, tennis and baseball. I finally went back onto the Wii fit the other night and the hula hooping is fun, the running is good, step is a waste of time for someone as very unco as me. I like the skiing games though and tightrope, Mario kart is great too. I love the fact that my 4 year old DD is having so much fun with it, she particularly likes the fishing game and cow racing and is great at bowling. A great purchase, my mum tried it today and really wants one now (but convincing my dad to get it is another story!).

It's the pack that has the accessories to attach to the controller, not the actual game disc. Please correct me if I am wrong but I pretty sure that is what everyone is talking about, well it is what I am talking about anyway.
