Default Re: Those who "FLY" - your control journals or something similar?

Melava I am on the AU FLYlady group now rather than the US so the reminders come 'in time' with us, and I use the delete key
Other than that you can change your setting to digest and you will only receive 1-2 a day. (jic that helps)

To the CJ. I bought the CJ papers from FLYlady. I then found a black binder from Officeworks (that didn't match the US punched holes btw) and some [size? ie smaller than A4] paper protectors. I cut all the CJ papers to size to fit the paper protectors and then put those in the black folder. Works well. I filled everything in in pencil and removed anything not neccy to the CJ in terms of paper. Ended up being quite a nice compact little unit.

I also bought the OIB (office in a bag) from FLYlady simply bc I had nothing else to put it in and it actually is set up very well. Then when I got my Kirrily bag I took my black folder and put that in the Kirrily bag so there's a used but still in good nic OIB here lol.

To the main CJ I added the FLYing through the holidays CJ and that was great - Christmas was ready here by Nov My OIB/CJ pics are up on my old Gallery which is down atm - my brother must be doing maintenance on his server.

The Morning Routine is GREAT. The Before bed routine is GREAT - that is to say I do them both most of the time and really see the difference they make. Still working on the Afternoon one as that's when I feel ready for bed/Nanna nap lol.

Started on the zones as well, and that makes a difference. A 27 Fling Boogie here and there and taking care of my Hot Spots, and things start to take shape. I've been getting into and doing stuff that was only ever on the 'one day' list before.

Other ideas
I am considering getting one of those spiral bound stand up landscape-style photo things from IKEA (other places may sell them) where you have one pic at the front, and then you can 'flip over' to another pic? Considering that to put a copy of my Morning Routine, Arvo Routine, Before Bed Routine and Zones in. Simply coz I don't like to have stuff on the benches (yeh yeh ) and if I pack my CJ away and it's not on the bench I don't look at it as often etc etc
so considering that.

That'll do for now.
Cheers
K

I have an A5 file with A5 plastic sleeves in it and then little tabs that stick onto the sleeves to separate the sections. Mine needs a lot of work LOL - It looks great but is lacking in a lot of areas.

Mine is only a very, very new project! I just bought a cheap ring binder, section dividers and A4 plastic sleeves. I use plain A4 paper that we had here for the printer anyway (which RARELY gets used!) and as I see something that inspires me from the emails, I write it all in pencil on one of the pieces of paper and stick it in the binder. I've only been FLYing (in very, tiny, baby flutters) for three weeks and already the binder is starting to take shape. As I know what I want to keep and what works for me, I'll start redoing some of the pages and make them more 'permanent'. For me, the KISS principal works in this case.

KISS, Nicole? Keep It sweetly simple? lol

I was just thinking for those who don't like the emails (the Au group doesn't get testimonials I just realised which I did like to read)... Just put the one sentence line of the daily reminders on a piece of paper and whack it on the fridge.

Kristy - is there any link to this spiral bound stand up thing, cause I have no idea what that is and am having trouble picturing it. That would be great.

thanks everyone for the inspiration. I have a great folder with all my menu/shopping/recipes etc that works well it is just the rest and yeah mine ended up being overdone because I was trying to make it perfect !

If only IKEA here was not so far away I would go... but it would take me around an hour for just that. I wonder if Officeworks would have something like that?
