Not really sure what. I asked the first time mum what she wanted but I got no answer. I guess up to the $80 mark, and its for a little girl.

Nappies
Muslin Swaddles (big 150cm ones- you can get them from ebay or make them)
Bibs
gro suits
toys
bunny rugs
dolls
teddy
mai tai
diary for mum to record special moments
Clothes from ozebaby/ wahmnaps/ and other WAHM sites

Hair clips from ozebaby (botique ribbons) / ribbonista

these are all from the top of my head, im sure there are lots more!

there are also a lot of sites that have nice quilts etc... that make a nice keepsake.

An amber teething necklace or a softie. There are lots of gorgeous softies on etsy.

If your willing to spend around the $80 mark you could get one of those necklaces where you take a wax cast of the babies finger print send it back to the company and they will make a pendant out of it. If you have a look on the matilda market website there is someone on there selling them for around the $80 mark. I think they are a great idea for a newborn, a beautiful keepsake. I'm getting one done for DD's 1st.

What about this

Lisa Leonard Designs

the heart one - she could always add hearts for extra children as they arrive.

And for bub, something like a taggy blanket. That was a huge hit with my bub.
