holidays over almost here been pretty good

Put both boys in an extra day at cc to make up for liam not having kinder otherwise they were going to drive me mental.

other than that nothing out of the ordinary really, couple playdates, some shopping and lots of time just doing whatever

holidays next year will b more challenging i think with a bored prep home lol. this yeah he hasnt noticed missing kinder till the last 2 days.
avoided the melb show as its always buzy chaotic and pricey, maybe in a couple years when they are bigger and i can trust them in a crowd a tiny bit more...

Today is our last day of the school holidays.
The kids are very excited about going back. We have kept it pretty simple over the holidays. We spent the first week mainly pottering around at home, they did lots of colouring/creating. Outside play and well pretty much all the normal things they get up to day to day (I needed time at home to be able to catch up on housework as well)
The second week I jam packed activities outside the house(cause we would go batty if we stayed home for the second week as well) We found LOTS of free activities. Going to the library and the museum. We booked in for the activities at the museum which was awesome. I was able to sit back and have a pot of tea while I watched the kids learn all about butterflies and do craft, they also had free face painting. We also had a day out a our local free waterpark and also went to a kite festival and watched all the amazing kites flying in the sky and did some more swimming in my sisters pool. So they have been very busy haha and I'm tired!!!!

Heh... same Aline (no, not the being pregnant part!) just that I had a heap of activities planned... free holiday activities at the library, kids activity morning on the Doulos, free beach walk discovery sessions by the Fisheries Department... but we have ended up doing none of them!

It's been all play dates, coffee mornings, family outings to the beach, park, mountains... and it's sooo lovely! I *love* not having to do the school run too... it's pretty stressful at times getting 4 little kids ready in time to take them to school!

Glad to hear you have all been having fun!
