I think boys names are especially tricky. I can't find any that gel for me at the moment.
So I'm watching this thread now to see if anything comes up for me ![]() Only suggestion is Jarrah. But if you have a J middle name it prob wouldn't work.

well I can't tell you the one we have in mind lol for our boy
![]() But I do agree with you re the Flynn/Finn and Ian/Iain - it has to be how it has to be iykwim. And I wish you luck! We have our three names picked (plus surname) just a matter of being happy with the order of the second/third name, and with one of the names will it be the shorter or longer one I am just looking forward to seeing him TO name him!Anyway, no name guru here but just gonna suggest away from the Gaelic background: Alroy (would be shortened tho and does mean red-headed boy) Arlen Boyd (yellow haired child) Carlin - From the fort by the pool. The little champion. A boy or girl's name Caiden or Cayden - spirit of battle Cormac - the lad of the chariot Dalziel Finian - would be shortend though - meaning fair or white Gallagher (?) Gilroy - son of the red haired man Galvin - the right one Leith Liam Orrin or Orren Reilly Tavish Torin Tynan eta not sure whats happening - post went then is back and now cant use apostrophe... will try and edit quick Last edited by KristyMum; 06-10-2008 at 06:34 PM. |

sorry no idea whats happening with the post. finished eidting
Also agree that you either have the name or you dont re the spellings of the two on your list and yes it would be hard ot have to correct yourself all the time with your own childs name som might say youll get used to it, some would say they know someone who has always regretted the name they did choose, instead of the one they preferred. |
