can you help me with baby names?

ok, 4 weeks to go & we still don't have a name for this little doodle of mine.

The only 2 names we both like enough to put on the list are

Finn
Iain

Now there is a problem though.
DH likes Ian, I don't hate it but prefer the Iain spelling BUT I just can't connect with the name. I like FLynn but DH doesn't so Finn is the compromise BUT I keep going to say FLYNN & don't really like the idea of having to correct myself on my own childs name. So I don't think I want to use Finn if it can't be flynn LOL.

Now as you can see by my other kids names we like celtic/galic sort of names,
We have Evan, Glenn & Isla. (thats the other thing with Iain, its a bit sing songy with Isla.. Isla & Iain)

Our surname is Fuller.

The middle name with be either Jasper or Jeremy. All out kids (and DH & I) have middle names that start with J.

So any suggestions on a suitable name?
I am very picky so please don't be offended if I don't like them. I want a nice clean name. I don't like names that sound gluggy, for example, DH at one point suggested Rowan. To me the name sounds like you have a golf ball in your mouth when you say it.
I don't want a long name. I don't want a name that will be shortened.

I didn't like it initially, but we have Angus, and it's really grown on me. Better of, I've been yelling it for 5 yrs.

Our other option was Connor.

sorry have to agree with DH on Ian, I think if spelt Iain as he may get sick of his name being constanly misspelt.

I think boys names are especially tricky. I can't find any that gel for me at the moment.
So I'm watching this thread now to see if anything comes up for me

Only suggestion is Jarrah. But if you have a J middle name it prob wouldn't work.

But I do agree with you re the Flynn/Finn and Ian/Iain - it has to be how it has to be

And I wish you luck! We have our three names picked (plus surname) just a matter of being happy with the order of the second/third name, and with one of the names will it be the shorter or longer one I am just looking forward to seeing him TO name him!

Also agree that you either have the name or you dont re the spellings of the two on your list
and yes it would be hard ot have to correct yourself all the time with your own childs name
som might say youll get used to it, some would say they know someone who has always regretted
the name they did choose, instead of the one they preferred.

we were orginally gunna call our little guy KYE but we have decided on WYATT... even tho still like the name KYE... i dunno if these are anything u like
