It's not brilliant at the moment, $1 Aus is only worth about 70c US. I find out by typing 'currency converter' in my browser address window and pressing enter and it just takes me to it! I think it's the first result if you google, xe.com or something.
I thought the rate was constantly changing? At least daily. But what would I know...maths is NOT my forte...

And yep, it's been on a downhill slide for a few months now It seems like only a little while a go it was 95cents.I've put off buying anything from the US for the time being - no more Etsy for me ![]() But who knows - maybe it's not such a bad time to buy - it may go even lower yet

Oh it changes daily? See goes to show how much I know
![]() Yes I was a little flabbergasted when I looked up the current exchange rate... trying to decide whether to buy now before the dollar perhaps gets even worse.... oh dear, I'm not a good one for decision making LOL Thanks for your input ![]()

Yes it has been going down
I thought 77 cents was bad when I last ordered from overseas but it has gone even lower I might have to ignore my coops for awhile I thought with the US economy not doing very well that our dollar would be higher. Perhaps their economy problems are effecting Australia more than what is on the news. Last edited by Esther; 08-10-2008 at 02:02 PM. |
