the ANN were working on a database of hospitals and their nappy policies .....i wonder if it is up some where yet????
And really if thats what you turn up with and have nothing else to use what can they do???? ![]() I am sure that would be discrimination of parents choices though

Yup pretty sure the mater is no cloth. North West Private when I had Katherine did both, but you had to provide your own pins/snappis and covers.

When I had Sophie at Redcliffe they gave you a packet of Sposies.
I just took my own nappies and wetbags and DH took them home and washed them. Later in the linen room I was asking the nurse about cloth nappies and she said they don't even have any at hospy.....but then I saw a massive stack of terry flats on a shelf. When I asked her about them she said "oh are they cloth nappies? we just use them as burping towels"

Ive had 2 babies at Logan and they never supplied cloth, thats why im so shocked to see some hospitals supply them (I wish they did!)
Even in Sydney, (I had my Ava in SYdney) they never offered them!

I took my own cloth to Logan, but was discharged from the delivery suite, so didn't need many!
I think I remember Karen saying that she took her own cloth to the Mater when she had Theo. They can't *make* you use disposable nappies, you just need to take your own cloth and organise for them to be taken home and washed.
