Default UK Environment agency report - updated!

Most of us know about "THAT" environment report that was released by the UK Environment Agency in 2004. They have updated the LCA and found that reusable nappies are better for the environment than disposable nappies (as we all know!)

You can read more details at the ANN blog:

    Its awesome news!!!

Hmmmmm, so presumably we are still buying 48 brand new nappies per child? And all of them magically disappear into thin air once the next child arrives so we need another 48? I presume the disposable nappies disappear into thin air too rather than go to landfill?

Its still not perfect and Fi also made some valid comments on OCN where it falls short when applying it to Australia but at least its an improvement.
