Im excited! Have been to spotlight

Bit of a pointless post.

I went to spotlight tonight and got fabric to make wipes with SOOO excited!!

I bought 2 colours in flanelette, and some baby blue terry towelling. Tried to get unisex colours... Im giong to do them all with 1side flaneletter and 1 side terry towelling. I couldnt find any of the things I was looking for that you guys know what they are, so I found the terry towelling and thought that will do! I used face washers with DD but found them too bulky so the terry towelling will be better.

Now here is something I am capable of

Had a nice surprise in the bank thats why I got it this early, otherwise I was waiting for a while before I bought anything for the baby.

Wipes are great, quick and easy to make so they leave you feeling like you've achieved something.

I need to make some more but just haven't gotten around to it.

I get excited by a trip to spotlight too - esp if I have no little helpers in tow.

Another one who loves and outing to Spotlight. I even enjoy just wandering through and looking at all the fabric and dreaming of the wonderful things I could make if I had the time.

This thread reminded me I have some sherpa cut up and ready to make into wipes with some flannelette. But.....

I went to Spotlight today too and grabbed some great cotton prints out on clearance. I just hope I have some time before Christmas to cut out the fabric as I am planning on making some cute Christmas presents.

I also grabbed some bamboo yarn to make face washers to give with the soap I plan to make for Christmas too.

I've decided that i HAVE to go to spotlight today - going to leave DD at home with DH & go ON MY OWN! had forgotten doing things like that existed! Will be lovely to trawl through the fabric without a whingy baby in tow (she is a good kid normally, but seems to hate spotlight). Hope i manage to get some super bargains!

Oh gosh I know what that's like. Ash seems to cry when we are there. The first time I took him I was there for 2 hours cos I had to feed him at the sewing machine bit lol then when he finished he screamed and cried and wouldn't stop ... as soon as I walked outside he shut up He officially hates Spotlight
