    What am I doing on here, you may ask? lol! I'm up at the rbh, at the netkiosk having a cuppa - looks like we might avoid gels after all - 3cm dilated on arrival Off for a walk, to get things moving well *giggle* fingers crossed for many strong contractions!

    Just wanted to pop in quickly and give some details Jackson arrived at 4.39pm yesterday after 5 1/2 hours of active labour, born into water at the birth centre, just like his big sister Lily was (same tub even lol). He's 7lb 10oz (3.45kg), 52cm long with a 37cm head (ouch!). No gel induction required and I had no pain relief, but had an incredibly tough labour (mainly due to an unusually long transition stage while the little guy turned from a posterior position into a better position to emerge ). We're all completely smitten with the new little guy
