Swing set for sure.......I've seen and experienced many 'ouchies' from trampolines and really think they are best for older children
Plus a swing set allows you to more join in with them rather than just watching!

Oh and two things that my kids found fun were a ball pit and a blow up jumping castle. We had the Barbie castle outside and it lasted ages! I got them from Big W i think

    I haven't put a vote in, because my kids have both. I have a 21mo and a 3yo.

They actually prefer the tramp more than the swing set. Obviously you have to be out there when the kids are on both, but more so with the tramp. We have had the tramp since DS was about 10mo old. DD loves it and has just worked out how to climb up onto it so I have to be extra vigilant now that she can actually jump too. At the ages my kids are, with the swing set, I have to be out there pushing them as they can't actually keep the swing going, with the tramp they can do it themselves and I keep an eye on them.

With our swing set we opted to get one without the slide as I spoke to some friends of mine and they said their kids never used theirs.

Friends of ours have a springless trampoline and it is fantastic! No springs to get caught in and they are enclosed. They are a considerably more expensive than the standard tramp but worth it I think. Just wish we had a flat backyard to put one in.

My vote is for the swing set as I sprained my ankle on a tramp, while bouncing on it with my brother - so no really fond memories there!

Tramp first. There are plenty of swings and slides at parks. We just got ours out of storage on the weekend and S1 has been on it heaps. S2 gets in there too and loves it.

Given that you are going to be getting both anyway....................

I'd do swings w slide first and trampoline the following year.

I would get the swings with slide first ..........I think they are too little to do the sharing thing so something they can both use will be good

and then get the tramp next year when they are both a little older

My kids have 3 swing sets and slides and they love them use the slides all the time
Plus they have a wave slide on their fort and they love it
