What's a nappycino?? A get together?


I was thinking if there was no party plan person, then a bunch of people could get together, lay out their wares on the dining table, have stickers attached to them, then rather than being 'sold' to by a certain person, it would be easier to pick and choose the ones you like, and not worry about offending or hurting someone's feelings, if that makes sense.

My want for a party, was a central place to buy everything I want, including disposable liners, for instance.

I love the idea of combining a pad party with it.

Yeah Im not sure on who actually does these anymore. I know Baby Beehinds did (and probably still do). Maybe ask Janie (the weewuns) OR Jayne (nurture nappies) and see if they are up to doing something.

The only downfall with this kind of thing is that it can be alot of gear and not many people (or alot of window shoppers) and therefore not be worth it for the vendor (especially when they are busy enough with their online stores IYKWIM). I know some retailers have considered doing this but it really is more drama than its worth, which may be why they aren't really done??

TBH IMO the best thing to do would be to go to a Nappycino (like the one Cathy suggested), look at peoples' stashes and then decide from that where you want to go next. Is there an IRL nappy store in Melbourne?

I know it's not what you wanna hear but truth be told I think its the only way you are going to see a massive variety . Unless of course I'm wrong and there is someone doing it!

Baby Beehinds do, (wink wink!) you can go through there website to find a demonstrator (as Michelle's post) I do know a lovely lass or 2 up here in Brissie that have a few brands that they demonstrate too but not in Melbourne...... One has an online shop....

Id have a NC party and see what person likes what cause Im sure we all like different nappies!
