Ideas to use pastry mix?

I have a box of pastry mix in the pantry that's been hanging around for too long.
Throw some ideas at me to use it.
I think my ex MIL used to make an apricot slice with it. I've personally never used it, but bought it to try a recipe. Which i will but there is enough for a few things.

When I make quiche i often cheat because I'm lazy - 3/4 cup of pastry mix into the eggs/cheese/milk/ham plus whatever mix makes a quiche that has body and holds together great in slices without having a runny middle.
EG:I don't line the dish with pastry first lol, i just chuck it all in together.
Works fabulous for mini ones done in mini-muffin tins for finger food at parties etc.

You want to consume quiche that's travelled across the country for a week Tam? lol
Though I used to bake and send biscuits (monte carlos) from Adelaide to Gold Coast and Adelaide to WA when we lived apart for 18 months.

Not quiche! LOL, something that would travel better! and keep while I'm in NZ!
