"Thank You" Thread!

Just thought I'd start a thread for people to post their "thanks" to the wonderful people out there in the cloth nappy world!

Me first!

Big Thank You to my friends - Unique_gem and LeanneP from EB. If it weren't for you guys dragging me to that first Canberra cloth nappy info night, I would still be forking out huge $$ for disposables and never truly finding out how much I was damaging the environment.

Thank you also to Elizabeth from Cleverpants for making the trip to Canberra to tell us about cloth nappies! It was the first time a WAHM ever made the effort to talk to us about cloth face to face!

A really huge thank you to Kate from Bubba J - your advice over the year I've known you has really made a huge impact on my life! As you know, I've always thought that your products are wonderful! Also, your business ethics as well as your willingness to help other WAHMs is something I really admire.

A really big thank you to Jo (mrsramjet) - for organising us "Bubba J Babes" as well as your advice, your positive outlook and support. You are such an inspiration!

And finally a big thank you to all the other Bubba J Babes - Rach, Diane, Sumara, Belinda, Lis, Jarrad, Kaz, and Leah. Without you guys to bounce ideas of, I don't know where I would be!

Thanks to kate from bubba j for my very first fitted nappy and wool cover, nearly a year ago now

Thanks to all my customers that bought nappies, boosters and covers from me
Thanks to all of the lovely people who emailed me and offered support when I shut momobutts
Thanks to all my new customers since shutting down lol
Thanks to all the people who have sent me kind words during my marriage breakdown

I'll stop now, or I might start crying, no sleep in two nights due to throat infection/flu seems to be making me a little emotional

Okay be warned, this post may end up rivalling an Academy speech

Firstly enormous thanks to Gab at Bubba Earth, without whom a great many of us probably wouldn't be in business at all. Her support, loyalty and friendship are worth more to me than any amount of money ever could.

Thanks also to all the Bubba J Babes - Jo, Eilleen, Di, Rach, Lis, Belinda, Sumara, Jarrad & Tammy - who put up with my rants, ideas, disappointments and joys. You are all amazing and I am so thrilled with the team we have in place.

Thankyou dear Jobee, who came up with the nappy party idea in the first place, presented it to a few of us, and allowed me to run with it. The endless hours you have put in to developing paperwork, contracts, information packs and so much other stuff have been greatly appreciated by myself and all the Babes. You are an inspiration to me... thankyou for trusting in me and my products, and for always being there my dear friend.

Eilleen - gosh where do I start??!! You have always shown so much faith in me... far more at times than I have had in myself. Your ideas are amazing, and you have always given so much to all of us and asked nothing in return. I am so very pleased about the journey we have made, and are making together. I just hope that some day I can repay you properly!

Karen - you have shown me so much support, and I LOVE that you will always tell things like they are! Your friendship means the world to me and I wish you so much success in your own business.

Leah (Azure) - maaaaaaate You are a deadset legend!! I love that I can always have a whinge to you (although you may not LOL), I love that you get so angry at injustices (as I do), I love that you will take the moral high ground, and I love that you help me take it too. One of the very best things about moving back to Melbourne has been getting to know you and your friendship is worth its weight in gold.

To ALL my fellow WAHM's, what a brilliant bunch you are!! I have been so lucky to be able to use a great many of your products and my gosh there are some talented people out there! I was thinking today, if we all added up the total of all the nappies we have sold, that would be the equivalent of hundreds of thousands of disposables that aren't sitting in landfill... because of us! You are am amazing group of people and I consider myself very lucky to call a great many of your my friends.

And to everyone who has ever bought, bid on, tested or borrowed a Bubba J - my sincerest thanks. You are all allowing me to follow my dreams, as well as be at home with my precious babes. The feedback I have received, both good and not-so-good, has been invaluable to me and I am grateful every day for the opportunities I have had.

Wow Kate, what a lovely post!
I would like to thank Kate for selling me my first fitted nappy, which started me on the road to exclusive cloth.
I would like to thank eccobubba as a whole, reading and posting has been great.

i thank kate (cos i was a tester for her. well xanthia was), sandra, lori, lara (for creating ozcloth), janie, vicki, jamie, jacqui, amanda, mel, and whoever else i've bought a nappy off!

I'd like to thank Grace at Possum Pouches and Dee at Baby Beehinds, for introducing me to the wonderful world of fitted nappies.

And also my hubby and kids for putting up with a frantically sewing mum, who gets a tad cranky when things aren't going quite as fast as she'd like.
