Way OT ~ Supermarket meltdown over toothpaste

On the flouride topic, we grew up on tank water and flouride free toothpaste because my brother developed asthma (sp) as soon as they put flouride in the tap water. Makes you think

Just be a bit wary of the natural ones, as a friend of mine had serious damage to her teeth, and her dentist said that the natural toothpaste she was using was grinding the surface away. Not sure what brand. Sorry.

just back from the health food store where the girls i have lunch with every tuesday bought out all the snappy jaws toothpaste!! LOL the wilelda says it was developed in consultation with dentists.

Smells very nice and the lady in the health food store was wonderfully helpful. I walked out with an armful of other goodies too!

Yep, my 4 yo loves trying to suck the toothpaste out of the tube when we have pineapple flavour...... not a cheap exercise... But on the upside..... at least there are no arguments when she has to clean her teeth!

I currently use Weleda gel for the kids & they like it, they've liked Snappy Jaws too, I like to mix things up!!
