you can do it andraya!! there's no need to wean just bc you're pg. check out www.kellymom.net

we breastfed for the first 4 months of pregnancy and it was excrutiatingly painful! but then i realised one day that it didn't hurt anymore .. just like that! sadly, my supply dropped hugely so amelie ended up weaning.

i would've loved to have kept going. for nothing else than to say 'we believe in breastfeeding til at least 2'. we were shy by 3 months. so very close!

Eww - morning sickness. I remember how bad it was with one bub, don't know how you do it with two!
No advice on the breastfeeding sorry except only stop when you want to, don't listen to others.
I've just had to stop nursing Ben and when you're not ready too, it sucks

Andraya, I know all about morning sickness I considered aborting so many times because of it and had tried 6 years to fall pregnant with Breeze and was so ecstatic, but still had those thoughts.

Ginger helps, Vit B6, and if worse comes to worse, Maxalon. I hope it passes for you soon *hugs* That's probably the ONLY thing turning me off having more children

i believe keeping hydrated is the most important issue (could contribute to a lot of supply drop issues?) you need to drink soooo much water!

supply issues are mostly hormonal.
drink according to thirst is usually a pretty good rule of thumb

OH.. you may find its only temporary....

I breastfed Jayden till 4mths pregnant with Jayden (when my family ganged up on me and told they would no longer support me... sorry.. a bit bitter still) and he would up days and down days with his feeding... he went about 12 hrs without any at all.. and then would drink all night long too (that was really annoying! lol)

you may find she will try again in a day or two... or maybe even a week or two... and even maybe when the baby arrives....

Thats one of the good things about weaning when pregnant.. it doesn't have to be permanent!

Hang in there Andraya, most kids will have the odd day where they refuse. The hormones may have changed the taste a little, but she will keep trying every now and then till the flavour comes back to they way she likes it
