Hello Andraya,

Congratulations BTW!!! I can sympathise on the morning sickness part of it all, sucks totally doesn't it? We have to take the ggood with the bad though unfortunately

I can't offer much advice on the breastfeeding front as I was told to stop and refused until my milk fully dried up I know of many other women who have successfully breastfed right through preganncy without a problem though..... hopefully you're one of the lucky ones who keeps their milk!

Here's to a smooth sailing pregnancy and a short lived bout of m/s!
Huggles,
Kirsty

tips on breastfeeding - just do it
i found my milk supply dropped very rapidly (which was interesting, cos i usually have oversupply!)
the sore nipples come and go throughout the pregnancy for most people. i found limiting the length of feeds helped, as well as being very pedantic with positioning and attachment (" 'big mouth' so it doesn't hurt mummy")
i also found if i was hungry when i fed it made the nausea worse, so keeping some crackers handy for a quick snack while feeding helped.
you'll probably find that the breastfeeding becomes more for comfort than for the milk (cos of the supply drop) but that's ok, you may just need to give extra water as well as the breastfeeds

You can visit ABA at www.breastfeeding.asn.au there is loads of info on there and lots of support too (including forums). You could also ring a breastfeeding counsellor (details on the site). They are always very helpful. Lots of people continue to feed through a pregnancy and beyond.

Sorry to hear you are suffering ms! How do you cope with 2 other LOs???!! You must be superwoman!

I hope bfing whilst pregnant works for you. Henry rejected me when I was about 10-12 weeks, but I noticed straight away that supply had dropped.

Hope it all goes well for you
