mystic bamboo again - fabric types

I'm considering ordering from mysticbamboo.com, and I'm just trying to weigh up whether it's worthwhile. Can some of you more experienced clothies please help me out?

The two fabrics I'm looking at are:
1. Natural PFD French Terry
60" wide
80% bamboo/ 15% organic cotton/ 5% spandexKnit terry, vertical ribs on right side (face) and short tight uncut warp-loops on wrong side (back).
2. Natural Velour
60" wide
70% bamboo/ 30% organic cottonFrench word for velvet.Knit fabric with a thick, short warp pile.

Do you think the spandex in the terry would be a problem? I know that in my own underwear, the lycra/spandex wears out long before the cotton fibres do. Do you think velour would be overkill for hidden/soaker layers in a nappy?
