Also you have to take into account that nappies are a hobby for some people here. What a great hobby - environmentally friendly, functional, beautiful, soft and cuddly for your babe! Like any hobby, there's that collector's streak that is willing to pay money for something that is considered valuable or unique in its community.

It's not something I can spend a lot of money on at the moment but I can definitely understand it!!

Isn't it funny, i remember when i first started out in fitteds i couldn't get over someone paying $50+ on a nappy but i can truly understand it now. It is art. Lesley does beautiful work and i would pay it!

If it was embroidery that appealed to my tastes i'd spend that much on a nappy...although i don't think i could ever use it on DS LOL

One of a kind, never to be repeated original, hand embroidered, it's practically a collectors item! I think it is fantastic that Lesley is getting a good price for her skills.

If I couldn't embroider myself, I would pay that for it.

i don't think this is insulting to either designer or purchaser IMHO.

Everyone has admitted the product is good. It's more about us stingey people that still see them as nappies rather than pieces of art!

I think BMW or Mercedes are probably nice cars. And very jealous of people who can afford them. I'd love a luxury yacht! But how much money would i need to have before i would consider spending $2m on a boat!?!?!?

Same thing, the nappy might be worth it. But i'm still not going to spend the money. At this stage it is not a hobby for me. But for those that love the individual collectors item side of it- go for it!

If I got one of those beauitful nappies, I would boost the crappers out of it so I wouldn't have to cover it up it would need to be snaps anyway, cause I don't buy aplix anymore I miss out on Honeyboys

I think it s is a bit insulting..its saying "who does that?"...like "who wears horizontal stripes with vertical ones" lol being someone who will pay that much for a nappy I really love..
