beep driving me crazy!!!!!!!
there is a beeping noise somewhere in my house and i can't find what is causing it and it is seriously driving me CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
it beeps about once every 30 secs to 1 min, at random intervals, and when i stare intently at the location it seems to be coming from, it doesn't beep, until the minute i turn my back then.... beep i can't see anything that looks like it would make a beeping sound anywhere - i hope i find it soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! arrrrrrrrggggggggggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh hhh

mobile phone battery running flat??
smoke alarm battery need replacing?? cordless phone battery running flat?? (they're the usual culprits here!)

Do you have any smoke alarms with flat batteries maybe Sue?
 Or a mobile going flat?  It is pretty annoying, but it'll keep going for a while!  Snap Bek!

i was going to say smoke alarm too. (we changed ours twice cos we thought the new battery was flat too. then rob saw we had another smoke alarm sitting on top of the dresser that was located right next to the ceiling smoke alarm
 )why on earth does the damn things beep in the middle of the night/early morning? that drives me nuts (particularly cos i'm not prepared to climb up anything in order to pull the old battery out!)

 We had a similar problem a while back and it one of Abbeys battery operated toys..the batteries were so flat it would just make this beep noise every couple of minutes. Bugger was it happened at night

Yeah, i was going to say smoke alarm too. Same thing happened to me once for weeks and it drove me bonkers until i figured out what it was. And afterwards i was like, "You mean you had enough battery to beep for WEEKS but not to detect smoke?"
The last random beeping item i had was a Tamagotchi stuck under the couch that was dying, drove me nuts for a good 24 hours.
