Sorry don't mean to change the thread but just wanted to say I got some bonds socks from big w for Rachel and they go right up to her knee they are called knee highs I think. I got two pairs for 5.95? and they are great stay on no problems. If you really didn't want to use stockings you could give these a go too.

Yep - I prefer stockings/tights/leggings (whatever you want to call them) on Niamh rather than pants. I find them easier to get on over a cloth bum of any size!

I've done that Bek... it was very cute, a little bit of ruffly longies poking out the bottom of the dress...

Bonds have recently released very cute stripey stockings, they are lovely and thick and fit over the cloth nappy fine!!

Cotton rich tights are the go here - they're quite easy to get over the cloth bubblebum! Actually the cloth bum helps keep them on!

Oh wow, didn't realise a lot of people use leggings

Thanks everyone, I'll go off and get a pair of leggings this week. We have few dresses but never use them because of not having leggings. There's Bonds factory in my area so we should be able to get a pair of Bonds leggings quite cheap

Maia has been known to leave the house in tight pumpkin patch leggings with a tots bots nappy on underneath. Now that is a huge looking bum, doesn't bother her. Of course a rumpster looks heaps better but if they're all in the wash, what's a girl to do!

The cotton rich tights *can* increase the chances of wicking if your using fleece or wool covers and bubs is going to be sitting in a carseat, etc...for a while. Of course, jeans or cord pants are the same & it's not an absolute, just something to watch out for.

Having said that, we *love* cotton rich tights, they feel much nicer then the synthetics don't they?
