Default Leggings and cloth nappies?

Does anyone put leggings on their bubs? (girls of course ). I'm just curious because we have some pretty winter dresses here but don't have any leggings. I wasn't sure how they will do the job with cloth nappies. Do they stretch enough to be put on a cloth nappy?

I'm not so keen to put leggings on Rebecca because it's already so hard to dress her on a daily basis. But without leggings, what else can you get to protect their legs getting cold? Or maybe I should forget about dresses and stick to pants, longies, and overalls?

Yep I put them on Rachel whenever she wears a dress or a skirt. They have plenty of stretch in them for her cloth bum.

i used them heaps on Beren when he was little to keep him warm, i put them under clothes for extra warmth and they were fine. I tend to use tights more than anything on nienna.

I used to use leggings over a terry square nappy, and we all know how big they make the bums!

i use stockings under pinnifore dresses atm. usually use a greenkids pocket cause if she is 'dressed up' we are probably going out and i find they fit under anything and are so easy so they are what we use for outings.
legging are just the same as pants i find, way stretchier than say jeans.but i find anything goes over a pocket

I use the Bonds stretchy leggings (and on a boy too! ) and find they are excellent for getting over a cloth bum, way easier than pants or jeans. Though they are not that warm either...

we use them all the time, as maia's feet are so tiny that her socks fall off all the time and i can't find any sort of shoe things to fit her. I have a few pairs of the stripey bonds ones that you can get at woolies, and she still fits the 3-12 month size over a smallish nappy no probs, but they do look a little stretched over a big nappy, but the next size up would be fine i reckon
