when justin got tonsilitis, his breath was horrid. his glands were also huge - maybe check his glands to see if they're swollen?

otherwise i'd be thinking teeth. they don't necessarily do the extra dribbling, gnawing on hands etc. xanthia was just grizzly (the other 2 didn't feel their teeth coming thru)

i'd leave him sleep where he is

Oh, you poor thing; if losing his balance could possibly be ear infection too!?! I would get him checked if not better in a day or so. Glad he's asleep, best thing for them really, hope he improves soon

Hi Ali,

Hugs, hugs and more hugs, William's been off the last few days too, culminating with a huge vomit last night at 10, and then it took us 2 hours to settle him down again. I'm going to suggest either tonsilitis or ear infection, just give him some panadol - we use nurofen with William cause panadol doesn't touch the sides and an antihistamine.

Hope he and you are both feeling better soon. And I haven't forgotten your email, it's in my HUGE to do pile.

Hugs

Hi

It can be frustrating. My Ds was sick a few weeks ago it & I was in tears much of the time coz i couldn't comfort him. He was constantly crying & nothing i could do would make him feel better. He just cried & cried & cried.

He also had bad breath & even untill now he still do. Went to GP & even saw a Paed none of them mentioned tosilities though. Now i'm just assuming his bad breath is from teething.

What worked was paedamine which i only gave at night. I also alternated between Nurofen & panadol coz his fever went up until 39.5. We also bought a Vapouriser which seemed to work.

Hang in there.. *hugs*

Bad breath is often caused by tonsillitis. I have always been told that if the runny nose gunk is green, that's a bacterial infection that will need antibiotics. Maybe take him to a Dr tmw, even if he/she just tells you that it's nothing at least you will know.
