AARRGGHHH! Telemarketers!
Why do they always have to call when I'm in the middle of getting dinner ready, bathing Alex or trying to give him his dinner etc??? Are the psychic? How do the know just the most annoying moment to call?? I know it's their job & I do always feel mean knocking them back, but it's just sooooo annoying!
 Ok, I feel better now that I have vented.

bec that is why we got rid of our home phone , (well that and we werent using it enough to compensate for the ridiculous charges for line rental.) we only have our mobies now and it working out heaps cheaper per mth! and no tellemarketers!

I must confess, after being told many times in my youth never to lie, telemarketers have turned me into a pro.
"No, I don't want to sign up with X, i have a contract with Y, thanks bye" "NO, I dont; want roller shutters, I'm renting" "no, I don't need a new roof, I'm selling my house" "No I don't need a security system, I already have one, and 6 huge dogs" "No, I don't want to invest, I put my money elsewhere" (yeah, into the nappy making industry LOL) "No, I'm not interested in a holiday at a wonderful price, we have our own yacht" etc etc LOL Ali

I do it with the home loans ones.. thankyou but we've already paid of our 5 houses and plan to pay cash for our next one...

I think I'm going to start answering, and getting them to start their spiel ... and then put the phone down on the bench to see how long it takes them to realise there's no-one there.

My mother in law says to them "hang on" then puts the phone next to the tv & leaves it for one hour to tie their lines up.....hhmmm....will have to remember to do that next time. The funny thing is, I can still hear them talking as I'm hanging the phone up!
