OT~fun~ what's the best state in OZ to live in??

Well, I live in adelaide - but....
I wanna go home.. LOL I lived in Tassie for 13 yrs and love love love the place. I get homesick just thinking about it. Sure it's laid-back and doesn't necessarily have as much shopping - and sure it can be cold - but I guess I'm a country girl at heart. There's something about driving in the country seeing REAL mountains, BIG trees (lots of them!) GREEN grass(practically all year round) and LOTS OF WATER! That you just don't get on a country drive in SA.
Having said that, i'm aware that there aren't many jobs over there and it's not the best place to have teenagers as the work is limited - I think I will retire there though.
Other than that, Adelaide is probably the next best thing for me - I can't stand a city any bigger.
