i love WA, less polution, beautiful old growth forrests and caves within hours of the city, relaxed and affordable lifestyle. our state is amazing in its contrats - up north we have desert and tropical beaches, dugongs and whale sharks, down south we have ginormous majestic trees ginormous whales oh dont get me going! i feel so blessed to live here, have met so many friendly mamas, shared many a coffee in child friendly cafes.........

but, having said all that, i really look forwatd to checking out northern nsw and queensland one day!

I'm down in Melb, Victoria where the weather is unreliable and moody not sure it's the "best" place to live, but there's everything here, nice country areas, great city, eaches on the outskirts etc... and it's all I've really known. Interested to hear other people's views on their areas

Hugs,
Kirsty

definately NSW, it differs so much from country to city, beautiful holiday spots, fantastic shopping and such a personality and aura to it.

I love the NT cos its so wild and untamed, but theres also a couple of fantastic cities.

Sure we don't have david jones etc and we can't swim in the sea for most of the year, but there is really something about this place.

Whenever I leave I just wanna come back.

The storms are AMAZING! I have never seen or heard thunder or lightning come close to what we get here, and I love standing outside during a big storm...it really makes you feel alive ( I sound like a psyco!)

The people are so laid back and freindly and its ok to drink a beer at 9 in the morning!

But my favourite thing about being here is the dragonflies, there are seriously thousands around at this time of year and I love sitting outside with Codie watching them

I have been to QLD, and VIC and was raised in the ACT, QLD comes pretty close to NSW they have some lovely beaches but there are some great contry areas here in NSW! My brother lives out near wagga and it is nice out there also. Me I am a Sydney girl, well for the next two weeks anyway as I am moving to a place called Culburra Beach end of next week.

QLD is the best because it's warm & sunny (most of the time) so all the absorbent nappies dry quickly on the clothes line!

I live in South West Vic and like it here. Have become accustomed to the bizarre weather
I think, although sometimes it can be frustrating.., that I like being sort of isolated - 3hrs to get to Geelong or Ballarat, its nice to be so close to open paddocks and trees while still being in a town or mini-city.
