Kate's (Bubba J) friend Renee is the moderator for that section and she has triplets and 1 singleton! She also lives in Melbourne and is an amazing person...she would be an ideal contact for your friend
I actually got her email address and she has chatted to her, especially about breastfeeding because wants as many success stories to get her through, she breastfeed her son for a year and wants to BF her triplets too, for as long as possible.

A few Baa Bums would also be well used in Melbourne ;-) HOW CUTE- a set of 3!!! (you know how a love my sets LOL).
well there are plans in the works for a triplet set of baabums, she is having 2 girls and a boy so I'm trying to think up some cool themes for them..any ideas would be great, maybe I could run a competition for a custom slot for the person with the best idea for them?..hmmm..something to think about...!
I have sent her the AMBA and EB forums, she has found one already (not sure which?) and posting there, but since there are quite a few of you girls with twins here who are very net savvy, I new you'd be able to tell me
She is getting a dryer as a present (night be secret) and has a dishwasher (and Lindy I'm with you in the case -time is completely precious!) I did talk to her about cloth, but TBH the only advantage she is looking @ is cost, and she is really unsure. For me (as much as I love cloth) the order of priority in my head is: _time bonding with your babies_breastfeeding them_ and then other things can come afterwards, she saw how cool cloth was in Melbourne when I stayed with her, but it needs to be something she wants to do, I'm not pushing it especially in this situation

I loved the AMBA - I even took over running our Under 1's group. Unfortunately there is nothing here - closest group is an hour away. There is a twin group here - but all the twins are older. It was great going to my twin group once a fortnight, we all have things in common etc. I went to my mother's group too - but they just didn't understand and I felt like a real outsider as I tended to my two, whilst they sat there having coffee etc holding one baby.

I loved EB - but don't go there much anymore - it is very slow.

A big thing I found with more then 1 baby is routine - routine is big - that's why my two are such great sleepers - we pushed a routine on them from day 1. Also I would always do a load of washing a day - hubby would say why? why not do 3 one day and none for the next 3 days? Well 1 load a day is easy - 3 a day is harder - because by the time the 3rd load is done, the line is full, it's getting on in the day so it's less likely to dry etc.

Cleaner - didn't need that - newborns sleep a lot - and I just kept my house as tidy as possible - hubby helped on the weekends with vaccuuming etc.

Dishwasher and Dryer - yep definately use mine heaps!

You should contact some of the disposable companies - see if they'll donate any nappies for her! Honestly when they're little I'd go disposables - much as we hate them, imagine having 3 babies - and changing them every 2 hours - that's 12 nappies per baby, per day - or 36 cloth nappies - she's going to have enough washing to do, let alone adding another load of cloth nappies a day into the whole thing.

So glad!!! Renee b/fed her triplets for 2 years (WOW!!), and the fact that your friend has already successfully b/fed will be a MASSIVE advantage :-) Renee fed by routine and it worked brilliantly :-))

Oh TOTALLY agree. I actually meant a supply of disposables (ducks for cover lol).
