Default help night nappy advice

we have liam in cloth now during the day but the night nappy thing just freaks me out. And once again I'm looking for some advice.

http://www.nurturenappies.com.au/sto...lt.asp?One=344

contains 600ml, i think doesn't need a wool cover (?)

OR
http://www.nurturenappies.com.au/sto...lt.asp?One=316

which does need a wool cover which I am finding really difficult to find in liams size plus he is about to have a growth spurt again so fairly nervous about ordering custom longies as he might outgrow them quickly. Plus getting him to sit still for half a second to get his measurements (especially since i'm not confident about doing so anyway) is a nightmare =(

there is also
http://www.funkybumz.co.nz/catalog/p...1315bcadaa0f23

help?

anyone else in this situation have you used the above products what did you find works?

how old/big is liam?
is he at the age where he might night train soon? then id go the 1st option or the 3rd.
2nd is only 5 layers of hemp, maybe not enough absorbtion for a big toddler imo.

jades night nappy at 3.5 yrs was a bubblebubs aio boosted with a hemp prefold (which she could pull down),
or a boosted vbsn with fully wooly longies (bumjumper longies)...

We used XXL Fuzzi Bunz!!!
They were great Boosted with a hemp trifold for day. And for nights we used the hemp plus a micro fibre sports towel ROTFL Talk about bubble butt for sleeping, but it did the nights suoperly!!!
HTH??

Is he happy wearing a nappy? If he is, I personally would continue using a nappy system, simply because of the cost. Before she 'toilet trained', my daughter wore a Baby Greens Growing Greens nappy (from Nurture Nappies), with the contour booster it comes with, and an additional hemp booster. She wore that with a wool cover. She was always a brilliant sleeper; around 14 hours+ overnight.

These days, she is out of nappies, but wets the bed around 3 or 4 nights a week. I have asked her if she'll wear a nappy at night, and she agreed to put one on once, but took it off almost immediately. She won't wear a booster inside her knickers, either. So, for us, we've made a couple of 'bed pads' with some old towels, flanelette sheeting and rubber-packed curtaining which we can just take off and wash rather than doing all her bedding.

Of the three options you mentioned, I prefer the bedwetter pants (option 1?), but wouldn't want to buy them based on the price. It's a tough call, but if night training is a way off it could well be worth the money for your family. Why not write to Jayne at Nurture Nappies and ask if there's a demonstrator nearby? She might also be able to make some other recommendations.

Cheers.
