Also Bits for Bots sweet dreams hemp pockets could work - they are totally lined with suedecloth, so no hemp can touch anywhere. You can also do an oversized fleece liner so that it actually hangs out the nappy to avoid wet hemp (can get tricky to arrange when bubs become more wriggley though)! I'm sure there are others too that don't allow any hemp to touch the skin?

Hi there,
My DD used to react to wet hemp, but we persevered with hemp nappies because she is a heavy wetter, but we put the microfleece liners large enough to cover all hemp. Now though, it doesn't seem to worry her. It was worst at 6mo (a year ago) and now I don't even think of it. We are still using the large liners, but don't worry if they aren't covering everywhere. cheers,

Our best combo has been a Baby Beehinds Bamboo (coloured) with a hemp trifold booster and nachine made wool cover (Baby Beehinds). They are really absorbent, soft and don't smell as much as hemp.
