Pea Pods would probably be the cheapest pocket, and they are apparently good to use, plus you could use them unstuffed as an extra pul cover!

Ohhhh! Vietnam is lovely. Come over and look at our photos over a cuppa sometime Trish
 You could take a snap in AIO like Itti Bittis with you and take some of hemp boosters and some bamboo boosters to give you a range of absorbency.

Don't think it's going to be too tricky with drying the nappies. It's summer in Vietnam atm
 I second what Joh said, pack some wool shorties and put them over the pockets. I did it when we were travelling overseas last year. No leak whatsoever Enjoy your holiday Trish. I'd love to go to Vietnam one day (and why on earth didn't I go when I lived in Thailand? it's only next door  ).

Oh and snap Ali , I've just done exactly that. Ordered some more itti's and extra bamboo boosters on Friday . Hopefully Sue got my message!!!
