Some mornings my guys wake up dry, others they slightly damp, other times they are sodden. They seem to be very heavy when sodden so are pretty absorbant. We've had to change sheets twice (once per child) - but they wear pj's over the top, so it's more due to wicking - then too much wee.

Hmmmm sodden and heavy sounds like our girl. Given how popular the blueberry trainers are they are sounding tempting. I certainly understand the wicking, I think that is what occasionally happened with DD1 in the Happy Heiny - either wicking or not enough stuffing!
thanks again,

Hi there
Tracee, (and anyone else who uses them at night), how absorbent are the Honey Boy Pull Ups in your experience? I was assuming that 3 layers of bamboo was a lot less than what I use in a pocket pull up, but given what Julie has said about the Blueberrys which have two microfibre terry booster layers, I am wondering if being an AIO gives better absorbency effectiveness than a pocket (in which layers can move during sleep/rolling).
What do you/others think?
Thanks,

I can use the HoneyBoy Pullup unboosted on Claire, but couldn't on Abbey as if she wet overnight, it was a huge one and would leak through. But the lovely Lesley made us a separate trifold to put in the nappy and that makes it super

We have the Blueberries too and I should probably start using those o/night on Claire as she is only a light wetter at night now. As for their absorbancy, they're amazingly deceptive. They seems so small and yet they can hold soooooo much!

Thanks for your answers Tracee.
So which is more absorbent - Honey Boy Pull Up or Blueberry? I think you were saying the Honey Boy was more absorbent.
Would a trifold fit into the Blueberry as well?
Oh, and given Claire is only 3mo younger than my Katherine, which size Honey Boy did you get, large or extra large? (Katherine is chubby on the legs!! though.) Did you need a bigger size on
Abbey with the trifold?
Thanks for the great information.
cheers,

The HoneyBoy was more absorbant on Abbey, it's still a bit big on Claire.
A trifold would fit in the Blueberry, the crutch is quite accommodating.
For Abbey I got a Large HB (which fits the trifold easily), as I say, it's a bit big still for Claire she's a bitty little thing still fitting in size 00 shorts but the large still fits Abbey who's 15.5kgs with an average 3-4yr old frame.

Thanks again Tracee,
I think my girls are quite different in build, but your information is very useful. Katherine is aprox 14kg at 2 1/2yo. Looks like a large would be fine.
Thanks again.
