interestingly, there's a really bizarred documentary on Hitler that connects some of his "issues" with the manner in which he was toilet trained. It had me totally fascinated!!!

Thanks for all the reponses.
I think we might just try for more nappy free time, introduce the idea of the toilet and start talking about it more. I think that will be enough at this stage and we'll see what happens. The general consensus seems to be to wait until they are 'ready'. As someone who thought this was the best way to go and waited until dd's were almost 3 - I really question this now - I think I actually missed their best 'window' of opportunity. I also came under huge amounts of criticism for not starting earlier. Will see how we go. Quote:
