Default Nappies that look like pull up pants for night?

My daughter is just 4 and still is wet over night - she refuses to wear her cloth nappy because she's a big girl so I've resorted to pull up plastic pants but I hate putting them on her not to mention the expense...

Is there any pull up pants around for an older child that don't look like a nappy but have the same use?

Depends on how trim you want them and how much volume of wee you are talking. There are a few around- Simple Simons from twins in cloth, Marnie does made to measure undies called one wet pants, I've heard good reports about starbunz super undies as well.

Bummi's, Imse Vimse, blueberry's, motherease bedwetter pants, honeyboy pullups etc are all more like a pull up nappy and quite boofy, so probably not the go but they hold heaps more.

Most of the nappy online stores have training pants.

We have used imse vimse undies, which don't hold a lot, but they have cotton (organic) fabric against the skin, which is important to me. M loved using them, and has been 99.5% dry overnight since he TT'd, but wore them for peace of mind until a few nights ago. Admitedly didn't try many others, as we were so happy with the imse vimse. Had a good hunt and compare online, and it depends a little if you want a PUL outer, stay dry inner, organic, prints, side snap opening...

im afraid cloth pullups that have enough absorbency for a big toddler wee in the night do get abit bulky like a nappy - usually they pullup though.
have a read through this forum...i found these similar past threadshth's

Thanks Faeml

I make a pull-up fleece pants pocket .... they are no good for solids as I don't make them with snaps, purely a pull-up to catch wee.

If you can sew, there are a couple of patterns up on the WAHM site.
Free Sewing & Knitting Patterns : The WAHM Mall™

The katrina one has a blog linked to it for extra instructions including how to add a soaker pad.

They'd catch poo - it would just take a little longer to rinse them off. No worse than 'normal' undies anyway. On the upside, they look like 'normal' pants - great for the toddler who has decided he's too mature to wear nappies anymore

They'd catch the poo alright ... sorry, I didn't word my post very well. What I meant was they are a pull-up, so you need to pull them down to get them off, no snap opening. So if there was a "surprise" in there it might be hard to contain while removing the pants.

If you want something pull-up with side snaps in case of solid accidents, I stock Bumwear pocket pull-ups in sizes for a 4yo. I also stock bamboo trifolds to really boost them for big wetters overnight.
