I'm thinking of getting a couple of training pants for Becky when we go out. She's still wearing nappies when we're out and about 'cos I'm too lazy to find a toilet for her
But she definitely can tell me when she wants to wee so I figure later on (preferably after the baby arrives so I can act quicker lol), I can try using training pants and take her to the public loo So hit me with those brands that you like please Becky is very slim so I need something that will stay on her tiny tush and won't go boofy under her pants

sigh
these threads come up so frequently, i wish i could remember what i read in the last one! we need a STICKY about this topic training pants seem to be in two camps - ones with a stay dry inner - ones with a feel wet inner some are pullup some have snaps on one hip which are you after Ying? Maybe put what weight Becky is and the measurement of her waist? brands of training pants that are marketed at EC-ing kids i think would be your best bet, cos they make trainers for very young babies, ergo getting small ones won't be an issue. Straight away the EcoNix from bongo baby and Marnie's custom made One wet pants come to mind (at the nooneewilga website). i came to this thread hoping to hear recommendations, as all this is in front of us too.

I've been searching on the forum and there are several threads come up, but none of them answers my question exactly
What I need isn't really for her to be aware of feeling wet (she's already toilet trained ). All I need is something to catch a wee if we won't make it to the toilet in time, and this is only for going out 'cos she's wearing undies at home.I know what brands are available out there. I just need to find out which ones suit our purpose and her body build We're only able to get one brand of undies for her (Rio) because the rest in the market are too big even though they're the same size. Thanks for the link Gigi, off to look now ![]() ETA: I like the price of Bummis pants, I'm just not sure how well the fit will be...hmm Any feedbacks?

I found them a bit boofy Ying and for what you want them for I'd go the one wet pants made by Marnie because they are custom made to Becky's sizing and they'd hold an accident wee no worries.
The star bunz super undies (think thats right?) might be good too. I found that eventually for going out if the trainers were anything close to a nappy Felicity flatly refused to wear them and in the end I just went the undies and for a little while I carried a Potette and the bags that go with them in case I had to drop everything and she needed to do a wee right there. Now that lives in the car. I bought mine online but now Big W stocks them. The set up should cost about $15 or so all up.It folds up and doesn't take up much room. Just a thought.

I just saw some simple simon ones at twins in cloth - They look like they would catch a wee well. I'm interested in this thread as I will need to start thinking about something for Max soon.

I can highly vouch for the Simple Simon training pants through Twins in Cloth.
Jade is a skinny minny and the fit was great (most brands of knickers don't fit her and although she is 3 she still fits size 2 in most other pants). I bought a couple of the mediums and a couple of the large (she mainly wore them 6 months ago). She still fits the mediums but only just on the last snap, the large still have some room to grow but we are all finished with them here now. ETA: they are nice and trim and will easily hold a toddler wee.

The ME ones are pretty good - they're only fairly thin and don't catch us much as something like a blueberry.
