1st number 2 in the morning nappy

rightio heres my prob

My ds2 has a pattern with his first poo in the morning. I usally change him into a peapod when he first awakes, then he has his breaky. By the time we have all had breaky, ds1 changed for school me changed he has done his first poo have the day. Everyday the same.

Now he had outgrown his peapods (we have had leakages of both kinds) and I dont really want to waste a bbb nappy or bitti d'lish. Should I try and use maybe a pre fold with a cover just for the first half an hour, oh and easy for dh to do as well.
I dont know anything about prefolds or where I get them from have just noticed newborn threads.

I am not sure an infant prefold would fit your DS. You would have to go the next size up.

Can you just use a terry square with a PUL cover or even a booster pad folded inside a cover?

Can you perhaps buy some second hand nappies that would last the hour or so? I am sure you would be able to pick up a fitted nappy somewhere for under $15 that would fit.

Or, maybe you could just get some extra inserts for your Dlish? They have buy one get one free atm. That way if he didnt get the shell soiled you could use it again and if he did you could wash it that night and it would be dry by the morning anyway.

I dont think I would go out of my way to get special nappies for the morning poo as he could change his pattern in a flash and then u are left with these nappies you arent that keen on.

I know about buying special nappy, Dont wont to waste a good wee soaking nappy on some nuggets hmm I will need to think on it I think

You could always try sitting him on the potty at the time he normally goes and then you won't need to catch it in a nappy ;-)

I was thinking the same..if he is old enough.

Or do you have night nappies that would last just long enough to catch the poo?

hmm I dont think I am have the mental capacity to think about that senerio (on the toilet) yet and its in the morning. made me chuckle anyway. (that would solve this prob).

Well I purchased some extra booster sets for the d'lish (3 extra) and ist bogof yeah, I had to hold back from buying more nappies I was well behaved xmas bdays coming up control credit card spending. We are going camping in Jan so the extra booster sets will help has well phew brain drain over that.

Now I wish the bloody rain would go away here is Perth so I can dry my nappies where is summer

I was thinking that he could sit on a potty near where you are having breakfast so he is part of what is going on getting ready etc. :-)
